Frank Shorter was here!

Yes, that’s THE Frank Shorter, gold-medalist in the 1972 Munich Olympic Marathon! Frank was gracious enough to spend an evening meeting and greeting excited fans at our shop, and we were very happy to have him.

While Frank was here, he was also interviewed by two local TV news stations and everyone listened in on the interesting conversations. Frank is often cited as the reason for the great running boom experienced in America during the 70’s and beyond. While Frank was here he also participated in the Dublin Dash 5K and was able to speak with many local runners.

Meeting Frank was a very cool experience, and one that any runner would appreciate. Thanks, Frank!

Brooks now has several lightweight trainers, including the Ravenna 2 and the  Launch. The Ravenna is surprisingly comfortable for a lightweight!
